it has several inspirons and studios listed, but no studio 1737. upon closer examination, the driver is listed as for an inspiron 1737, and not a studio 1737.even though i found it searching for a studio 1737. now i went to the dell site and found and downloaded the driver for a 1737, but after i got it unzipped, it goes out to search for updates, and a dialogue box tells me that this upgrade will not work w my system.my only choice is to say ok at this point, and when i do the install seems to be aborted. still no icon by the clock, no recognition of devices.

I also confirmed that BTTray.exe was running in the background however the bluetooth icon would never appear in the system tray. The laptop is running Vista Ultimate 32bit. The software for Bluetooth was installed, Bluetooth was enabled in the BIOS however in windows Bluetooth would not appear in device manager.
